KSES PROPERTY CONDITION OBSERVATION
Observation
During a routine interior walkthrough, sustained direct sunlight and heat exposure were observed impacting the decorative wood wall surface adjacent to the large window assembly. Light penetration was concentrated across a defined section of the wall during peak daylight hours, with warmth detectable at the surface.
Assessment
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat may contribute over time to uneven fading, drying, or surface degradation of wood finishes and adjacent materials. While no immediate damage was observed, long-term UV and thermal exposure can result in subtle but cumulative changes to color consistency, material moisture content, and finish integrity if left unmanaged.
Action Taken
• Condition documented and logged in the estate condition register
• Baseline photographs captured to support long-term comparison
• Window orientation and light exposure patterns noted for seasonal reference
• Area flagged for periodic reassessment to monitor for changes in finish appearance or material condition
